Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Margaret is a great therapist and I always leave our sessions with greater clarity and self-compassion than I came in with.
Margaret is supportive and helpful. She has been a great source of information for me to bounce ideas off of. I like the video chat format, but the email messages are also good. She responds at night mostly, but I don't mind that because I stay up fairly late.
Very helpful and doesn’t judge anyone always there for someone who has depression.
Margaret is absolutely wonderful. I feel like she has the knowledge to know when to push me and when to let me figure out things on my own. She always offers so many ways to communicate and different resources for me. She’s great!
I really like talking to Margaret. I wasn’t really considering counseling before but my friend told me about how much her therapist helps and I’m happy I decided to talk to someone. I actually didn’t even realize how deeply some things bothered me until I started talking to Margaret. She never rushes me and always answers the same or next day. She’s very supportive and when I feel like someone doesn’t understand or when I don’t want to burden my friends with negativity, she understands and listens when I need it the most.
We’re still starting out and I’m getting to know her style. But so far she seems great. Very supportive, empathetic and warm.
Margaret is awesome! She’s kind and understanding and really listens. She lets me vent (which I normally do via messenger). She reaches out to me even when I don’t reach out to her to just check in. Initially I had another counselor for a couple days and she just didn’t care. She was absent and couldn’t schedule a talk with me until two weeks later. Margaret is wonderful and I’m so thankful for her, simply being there for me to vent when need be.
Margaret Paine has been really helpful with helping me deal with difficult situations in my life. She is understanding and caring. I like that she also responds in a timely manner to anything that can be bothering me or any questions I may have. She's great.
