Welcome!
I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with their authentic selves and create meaningful, lasting change. I work with adults navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma (including abuse), disordered eating, grief, stress, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, and life transitions. I also have experience supporting individuals with mood and personality disorders, substance use, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.
I’m a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Montana. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in addiction from Walden University.
My approach is primarily person-centered, meaning I view therapy as a collaborative, empowering process. You are the expert on your life—I’m here to walk alongside you with support, guidance, and compassion. Healing begins when people feel safe, seen, and respected.
In our work together, I integrate somatic, relational, and attachment-based practices with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, existential therapy, mindfulness, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and solution-focused therapy. I also incorporate holistic elements—like breathwork, gentle movement, meditation, and grounding techniques—when appropriate. I believe healing often involves learning to listen to your body, reconnect with your intuition, and rebuild trust in your inner voice, especially when it has been dismissed or overshadowed by past experiences. Everything we do in therapy is tailored to your needs, your pace, and your comfort.
I am certified in Telehealth Therapy (THTC) and currently provide online counseling services.
Practice Hours & Communication
My availability is Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (MST).
I typically respond to messages at least twice daily—once in the morning and once in the evening—and often more frequently when possible. You’re also welcome to schedule live audio or live chat sessions in advance.
Please note: I do not offer video sessions. This allows for a comfortable, flexible, and accessible space where you can share openly and reflect without pressure.

Relationship abuse involves one partner exerting power and control over the other. This can include physical violence, coercion, manipulation, or controlling behaviors. Recognizing these dynamics can be the first step toward safety and healing.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Very helpful and very understanding
Ashley is a competent, empathetic and honest therapist. I highly recommend her!
Ashley has been amazing! She's promt, she's easy to visit with, and I feel she really understands my needs and wants through this therapy journey. She focuses on my issues in a respectful and supportive manner. She is very professional and very kind. I appreciate her depth of knowledge and her expertise. Above all she's compassionate. I can't recommend her enough.
Ashley seems to be very in tune with what I am needing and provides good direction
Ashley is a really good listener and what stands out to me is the fact that she remembers things I say - even the small things. This makes me feel really happy. She helps me approach my problems in a reasonable way, and in a way that’s easy to digest and understand. I feel open when talking to her and I genuinely look forward to our meetings each week. I don’t ever feel judged either. I have opened up about some really hard topics which is something I wasn’t able to do with past therapists. I also really like the homework she assigns me, I feel like they’re always on point and help me work on my issues.
Ashley is really awesome! She understands me well and gives me very good tips every time. I have noticed many improvements since I work with her and I always look forward to our sessions :)!
I love having a listener not to judge
She is absolutely amazing.
She is a wonderful therapist, who actively listens and provides helpful recommendations on how to manage anxiety. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to support themselves through therapy.
Very reassuring and sustains positive outlook throughout the therapy
Ashley is a highly skilled, perceptive and warm individual. Her breadth of experience in engaging with a range of issues means that she always responds knowledgeably, and with careful consideration. It is very rare to find a therapist who approaches sessions in a constructive and relaxed manner. Ashley makes her clients feel at ease, and offers the best help in a timely manner. I could not recommend Ashley to those seeking help enough.
Ashley is an amazing listener with a very calm disposition. She really helps to put me at ease while I talk about my struggles. Ashely has a way of helping me truly see my situations in a way that gives me immense clarity; really helping me to better understand myself both inside and outside of our sessions. I typically journal following our sessions and I feel I've uncovered a lot and gained a lot of important perspective.
Great!
Ashley is easy to talk to, listens for meaning instead of words, and gives practical feedback.
Ashley is understanding and easy to talk to. She stops and listens without comment, and reads me well enough to when I need her input. She caring and empathetic and I feel like she knows me so well, even after only 3 appointments thus far.
