Benjamin has been an amazing therapist: he’s extremely understanding and knowledgeable, and I found our sessions to be really helpful. I’d say he is the best therapist I’ve seen!

I found Benjamin very knowledgeable in his approach and very easy to talk to. He put me at ease immediately and chatted through his approach. His style is quite informal which I really like as it makes it easier to be open.

Hi, I’m Ben - a psychotherapist with a master’s degree and over 10 years of experience working with individuals and couples.

You might be here because something isn’t quite sitting right - in your relationships, your sense of self, or the stories you carry. Maybe you’ve done the “talking to friends” thing, or even had therapy before, but you’re looking for something with more depth, more edge, and more honesty.

My style is warm, grounded, and engaged, but I’m not afraid to challenge you gently when something needs to be named. I’ll never push you before you’re ready, but I won’t just nod along either. If something feels stuck, we’ll look at it together.

I work integratively, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, family systems theory, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). That’s a fancy way of saying: we’ll make sense of your patterns, trace where they come from, and figure out what actually helps now — not just what made sense in the past.

I’m especially experienced in working with relationship difficulties (including with self), grief, addiction, anxiety, low self-worth, and identity questions. Whether you’re carrying something old or navigating something new, therapy with me is about creating a space where all of that gets to exist without judgement, and without the pressure to perform.

The practice I hold is diverse in terms of ethnicity, sexuality, culture, and gender identity. Thus, I actively take into account the surrounding structures that be, and am mindful of how they interact with the client's current or ongoing struggles.

If you’re looking for a therapist who listens closely, asks real questions, and doesn’t just hand you a worksheet and a smile - we might be a good fit.

Finding the right counsellor for you is imperative, as the relationship between counsellor and client is key. Whether you decide to work with me or with another counsellor, it takes courage and bravery to seek therapy - for the first time, or for an additional round. As such, be proud of making it this far, as you are taking active steps toward healing. From the bottom of my heart, best of luck during your search; and if you decide to see me, I’d be glad to meet you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
