From the beginning Rupindeer has been we'll committed and patient for working through my issues. She was very clear about what she wanted me to do and practise and over my time with her I have developed some key practises which have greatly improved my life and I will continue to do going forward - this was exactly what I wanted out of the therapy. Thank you so much Rupinder.

I was fearful approaching counselling sessions due to negative associations with 3 other therapists that I felt simply couldn’t understand my background challenges. Working with Rupinder has felt so reassuring and affirming that I am so much more than I ever allowed myself to believe.
More about Rupinder

My name is Rupinder Sagoo MBACP ( Accred).
I am a Counselling Psychotherapist, accredited by the BACP. I have been working in the field of mental health for over 25 years. As a Counselling Psychotherapist I specialise in what is called Holistic and Integrative Psychotherapy. This means working with the whole-person and not simply the presenting issue(s).
My approach to psychotherapy is that one size does not fit all. I believe in synergy, which is the concept that ‘the whole is greater than the sum of its parts’. And so, if one does not consider the other aspects of the human condition, there is the danger of missing something. Humans are multifactorial and therefore their solutions are also multifactional.
Talking therapy can be sufficient at times, but for just as many people it is simply not enough. One has to consider the wider context of an individual’s life to find the best solutions for their issues. This is why when working with clients I consider a range of factors including sleep, diet, nutrition, relationships, whether one has meaning and
purpose as well as their emotional and psychological status.
By looking at the whole person and their whole story , I have found that you not only get better results, but these results are sustainable.
Although I do have a whole-person approach, I also work with other modalities such as CBT and solution focused therapy, depending on the needs of the client.
Amongst the issues I’m qualified and experienced in are low self-esteem, bereavement and loss, addiction, anger management, anxiety, low mood and depression, work related stress, young adults and young adults in further education, exam related stress, relationship breakdown, changing careers, and loss of meaning and purpose, sleeping disorders, neurodiversity such as adhd, cultural specific issues such as integrating into a different cultural, diversity, as an Asian women having lived experience of discrimination, adapting to family expectations v the environment growing up in and the challenges that come with that.
This is not a definitive list but gives an overview of my background. If there is something not listed here that you need help with, please do not hesitate to make contact .
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that I know you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to help and support you in that process.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
