Are you feeling lost, disconnected, overwhelmed or struggling with self-esteem? You don't have to carry things all on your own. I may not have all the answers, but I’m here to help you hold the weight and walk alongside you as we figure things out together.
My deepest intention is to support you in coming home to yourself. I know what it's like to take that first vulnerable step of seeking therapy. I can assure you that if we work together, I will greet you with warmth, non-judgement, deep listening and understanding. I will bring curiosity about what makes you you, and together we’ll shape an approach to suit your specific needs and preferences.
My background:
I am a fully qualified and BACP registered counsellor & psychotherapist based in Scotland, UK. I have a background in education and mental health support, and have been working with clients in private practice for the past 3 years. I have experience in helping people with:
- Stress
- Trauma
- Anxiety
- Depression
- OCD & intrusive thoughts
- Motivation
- Self-esteem/self-worth
- Relationship issues
- Neurodivergence (ADHD & Autism)
- LGBTQ+ related issues
- Women's issues
- Grief
- Existential concerns and life transitions
- Self-harm
- Body image
My training includes a BACP-accredited diploma in Counselling and a further Post-graduate Certificate in Pluralistic Psychotherapy. I have additional training and Continued Professional Development in trauma-informed working with survivors of sexual violence, mindfulness, parts work and somatics & embodiment.
Areas of special interest:
While I welcome and value working with people from all walks of life, I have a particular interest in working with:
- People exploring Gender, Sexuality or Relationship Diversity (including non-monogamy & kink)
- Highly sensitive individuals and those with complex/developmental trauma
- Anyone seeking to improve their relationship with themselves - to deepen self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-compassion
But whoever you are, and whatever you’re experiencing, if you feel we might work well together I would love to meet you.
The principles of how I work:
- Relational - meaning I will always prioritise building a warm, supportive, non-judgemental and authentic therapeutic relationship with you. Research consistently shows that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in positive outcomes. I bring myself as a real person into our work - offering space for humour, honest feedback, authentic connection and trying out new ways of relating - whilst always maintaining professional boundaries to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
- Collaborative & integrative - meaning I will work with you to create a unique approach tailored to your own needs and preferences. I can draw upon a number of different therapeutic approaches depending on what is needed in the moment. We’ll check in periodically throughout our work together to reflect on how things are going and consider if we want to make any changes going forward.
- Trauma-informed - meaning I will support you to connect to your own strengths, agency and choice, and will bring a nuanced understanding of how trauma can affect our thoughts, behaviours, relationships, bodies and sense of safety/ stability.
- Holistic - meaning I can understand how many factors will have shaped you and your current situation, including how systemic forces such as capitalism, racism and gender norms can impact our ability to flourish and thrive. It also means I honour the many ways people find healing and resilience, through therapy, but also through other resources such as community, cultural traditions, spiritual practices, creativity and connection to the natural world.
Next steps:
If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you - I’m here to meet you with genuine care, curiosity and compassion. Let’s take it one step at a time, together.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
