Are you experiencing increased levels of sadness, anxiety, or fear?
Do you find yourself in a situation that you feel is beyond your control?
Have these concerns become present recently or how long have they been around?
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor from South Carolina with experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I provide personal counseling as well as couples counseling. I have worked with clients across a wide range of concerns including addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and struggles while parenting. I also have experience working with individuals with career challenges and ADHD.
Although I have experience and training working with addictions, I have not been specifically trained to work with Sexual or Pornography Addictions. If this is a concern, I encourage you to look to a counselor more qualified in these areas.
My counseling style is warm, empathetic as well as interactive. I have found it works best to discuss the current concern and what attempts have already made toward resolving it. From there we brainstorm approaches to address the situation. Facts surrounding current and past trends often shed unexpected light on a current situation. We will remain focused on what things help you to achieve your goals in the future. I often use Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused approaches to assist individuals; although, my approach will shift to most accurately address the concerns you share. We will address plans and your progress toward your goals in each session.
My main goal is to join you where you are and work with you to establish solutions.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Rachel is amazing! I am very grateful to have been matched with her!
She is awesome!
Rachael offers supportive, encouraging help! She asks great questions and truly listens. I was really struggling with anxiety and depression and she helped me find the exercises that helped me re-tool my thinking.
I feel safe sharing with Rachael. She hears me, yet keeps me on task. I would highly recommend her. She is exactly what I need to sort my feeling out.
I find Rachael to be very relatable, professional and very supportive. I don't feel judged and so I feel more likely to confide with her and I take the exercises that she gives me seriously. I also appreciate that she follows up with me post conversation. I appreciate betterhelp for online counseling. My first thought was that this wouldn't be very personal but it has exceeded my expectations especially as a busy executive. I have recommended betterhelp to an associate and I am aware that she has signed up and had her first session as well.
Rachael is very easy to talk to, I was so nervous but she made this a very positive experience and has helped me so much!!
Raechel is a great listener. She adjusts her methods to fit the person she is counseling so that they fit the individual needs. She also assigns worksheets and activities to help the person learn and cope between sessions.
She has helped me so much over the past few months, keeping me accountable and encouraging me through my personal struggles. The tools and insight she has given me have provided breakthroughs and changes that have improved my quality of life!
Rachael is a tremendous counselor with amazing insights into any situation I present to her. I always come away from our sessions with a clear understanding of the direction I need to go in. Thank you Rachael!
