Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I absolutely love Roger! From the beginning, we have clicked, and I feel that he understands me. He does a great job at listening to me while also providing feedback and helpful solutions. Better Help did an incredible job at matching us, and I very lucky to have him as my therapist.
Roger's responses to my messages are very thorough. He asks good follow-up questions. I also like that he provides articles and exercises for me to review.
When i first downloaded this app, i didn’t know what to expect. i was in a very dark place and all i knew was i needed help quick, or maybe it could’ve been too late. When i first started this i was just looking for someone to talk me down after a terrible few months. after 2 weeks of just texting me andrews i’ve already started to change my mindset and better myself believe it or not. He sends me worksheets i study over so i can understand myself more and it really helps. he’s told me multiple times i’m not alone even when i tell him i am. I feel like he really listens and actually puts thought into his replies. i appreciate all he’s done for me so far and i’m very excited to continue!
Roger is amazing! From the first time we spoke, he listened and gave me advice that I transferred to every other area in my life which sparked a "revolution" for positive change. I was very comfortable from the beginning and did not feel like this was just a service that I was paying for but someone who actually cared. I would totally recommend him!
I have felt completely at ease communicating with Mr Andrews! I get very nervous, typically, without written communication; nevertheless, I have confided over the phone w him and plan to continue. He is extremely personable, encouraging, and focuses on the real problems I’m going through and their roots!
So far I have truly enjoyed my time with Mr. Andrews, he seems to give good advice and gives helpful “homework” to help me between sessions.
Roger is very easy to talk to! He gives good solid, practical advice. He focuses on what I can control in my life and he helps me find ways to let go or deal with things I cannot. I would recommend Roger in a heartbeat! I feel he truly wants to help me overcome my anxiety, today and for the long haul.
I was a little nervous to try Betterhelp.com to begin with because I have not spoken with a counselor previously but after talking with Roger, I was quickly assured that my decision to join was a good one.
