I have a Master's in Social Work, which I achieved in 2011. I have worked most of my career in child welfare, since 2000. I am licensed as a clinical social worker in Michigan. I am well versed in substance abuse, parenting problems, and crisis intervention. Within that realm I have worked with people who have physical trauma and emotional abuse. These are concerns that are most often involved in child welfare cases.
I am very attentive and interactive with clients. I am non-judgmental and respectful of all different cultures. I have worked mostly with solution-focused counseling. I will ensure that your treatment plan is driven by your needs. You are in the driver's seat to achieve a successful and happier life. I will advocate, support and empower you to meet your needs.
I am looking forward to meeting you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Linda's sessions and meditation techniques she shared helped me greatly.
Linda has been very helpful and realistic about everything I've discussed with her. Her help has gotten me out of a dark time in my life and I would gladly recommend her.
I appreciate Linda’s attentiveness.
Linda is really helping me understand the hard truths about my situation but is being so helpful in guiding me to find resources and being there to hear me explain anything without judgment and reminds me of that. Greatly appreciate her help so much.
Love Linda. She balances your needs with some honesty. And she works on the things most important to you.
I appreciate how Linda takes time to listen to my concerns and offers guidance on how to deal with the stress. She also makes me reflect on possible underlying issues for the dynamics in relationships (previous trauma, what the other individual experienced previously). I sincerely appreciate her insight in working through the transition process with my transgender child. She understands that this is a transition for all of us.
Great therapist and always available to contact

Linda has been important in making positive life changes for myself, helped me through a really tough time in my life with my relationship and family issues.
Linda has tremendously helped me throughout my experience in therapy. This is my first time sharing and discussing situations to help with me bettering my mental health, and getting help. She's amazing she's helped me with worksheets to help with anxiety & stress and getting to the root of the issue practicing grounding and reflecting on having a different perspective on things she’s amazing!
Linda is able to work with me and gives helpful suggestions. She is able to evaluate and has insight into what can help me with life issues .
Linda is very straight forward and helpful. She helped me out of one of the darkest moments in my life and I appreciate it very much. I also learned a lot about myself from her. I recommend her assistance.
Linda is awesome Very sharp & keeping me focused. I am very fortunate to. have met Linda Oberle
Linda is a true professional. In one of our first conversations, she said, "I don't expect you to open up to me right away because we have to build some trust first." I have never had a counselor tell me that, but what a difference it made! I feel very comfortable working with her and learning from her. I am so grateful we were matched.
She's great. Definitely takes the time to listen to me and makes me feel comfortable to talk about what's going on with me emotionally.
Linda is very understanding, listens to concerns, walks with you on recommendations, and also keeps you accountable during therapy sessions. She is wonderful!!
Linda is very respectful, concerned, and engaged in our conversations. I feel comfortable talking to her and am given tools to help me figure out some of my feelings.
Her style is honest, genuine, compassionate, encouraging, and sweet. It's very easy to fall into natural conversations with her that lead to important realizations. And I always feel that she has my best interest at heart with all of her advice and encouragement. She also helps to keep me grounded and is great at talking me through my anxious circular logic/talking me down from panic. I am extremely happy to be her client!
Linda has helped provide me with worksheets and tools that help with learning how to take a step back, breathe through anxiety, and to ultimately learn how to focus & stop procrastinating. It sounds like simple issues to fix, but it has been challenging & Linda helped me realize it takes time to learn and move past your own inner roadblocks.
Linda develops her approach for our sessions based on exactly where I am at and what I need.
I have only been with linda a very short time . I do like that she is down to earth
Linda listens to me. I'm still at the beginning of this all. I feel like she allows to make my own decisions and figure out my solutions while guiding, not telling, me my path.
Linda is an amazing therapist with good sound advice. She's a very caring person also. I have found her to be honest and straightforward with me which I really appreciate.
Linda is great at Brief Interventions and offering realistic solutions and possible resources! She is empathetic and validating and demonstrates active listening. I appreciate her insights.
