Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Shannon is a great person that knows how to listen and how to provide really important insights. I am driven to think about the solutions for my problems instead of having easy recipes and I couldn't be more grateful for that. He always welcomes me with his wisdom and a smile and that is absolutely incredible. I would recommend Shannon to anyone who really wants to change and improve themselves. Thank you very much :)

First session was a little rough because my answers were short, but Dr. Williams was patient. And from our second session forward I felt comfortable opening up. Dr. Williams was understanding, and he helped me to understand my feelings a little better. I only stopped because of some adjustments I have to make on my end, but I hope to continue with Dr. Williams when I begin therapy again.
