Thank you for taking a moment to let me introduce myself. I am clinically and professionally licensed in both Ohio and Florida. I’m essentially from Ohio but grew up from the West coast to the East coast. I majored in Psychology at Ohio University graduating Cum Laude in 1995 and continued on to get my Masters Degree (M.Ed.) in Counseling graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1999 as a member of the Chi Sigma International Counseling Honor Society. I lived in Jacksonville, FL for 25 years but have moved back to Ohio to be closer to my family. I used to enjoy the beach and daily sunshine but now enjoy feeding deer, bird watching, and hiking. I've been a therapist for over 26 years providing individual therapy to those struggling with a variety of issues such as low self-esteem, anxiety and depressive disorders, anger and stress management, trauma and sexual abuse issues, PTSD, phase of life issues, co-dependency, and OCD. I'm here to see and hear what you cannot; to be the neutral mouthpiece, the voice of reason, the one to guide you, challenge you, help you, and meet you where you are. I specialize in cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Depression (IPT-D), Prolonged Grief Therapy (PGT), mindfulness techniques, re-framing techniques, person centered therapy and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). I use different components based on you and your goals. Your change is for you. Your therapy is for you. I want to provide you the tools to help yourself and to be able to continue on after our work together is finished. I would love to help you feel better and continue to be better. If this sounds like a great fit, I would love to work with you!! Schedule a session today!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Jennifer is a very good listener. I would say she is as good as my friends but the fact of the matter is that many of my friends are not very good listeners. I compare some of our best sessions with fables. I tell a story that at some level is emotionally affecting me. And at the end of the story Jennifer tells me what the lessons probably were.

Jennifer Sagle has helped change my life almost completely back to normal after being in a not so good place. She’s proven that it doesn’t take medicine to fight generalized anxiety disorder and a life of panic attacks. I have either of them very rarely now and I give that credit to Ms, Jennifer Sagle that’s not only a kind, caring, genuine and professional way of providing me with the tools that took my from a life completely consumed with panic attacks to very rarely having either. For that I’m thankful to Better Help and even more to Jennifer’s magic!

I love Jennifer, she listens but most importantly tries to find ways to help you through something instead of just letting you talk and talk. If you want to make changes in your life, she can help navigate it, you just need to be willing.

Jennifer is nothing short of amazing — having her in your corner is truly a gift. She is deeply empathetic, gentle, and compassionate towards those who are lucky enough to work with her. Jennifer’s guidance not only validated my experiences and the emotions I felt because of them, but it also enabled me to move forward in a much more positive direction by holding me accountable and bringing me to higher levels of self awareness. I honestly believe if it wasn’t for her, I’d still feel like I was stuck; spinning my wheels. I’ve made so much progress in my brief time with her so far and am beyond appreciative that the universe conspired, leading me to her.
