Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, substance use concerns, or a life transition, I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space to talk through what is happening and decide what you would like to change.
I am a licensed clinical social worker in New Hampshire (LICSW), Ohio (LISW-S), and Florida (LCSW). I also hold a Vermont Telehealth Privilege and am a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) in Ohio.
I think of myself as a teaching therapist. Along with listening and helping you explore your experiences, I explain concepts, share practical tools, and help you practice skills you can use outside of our sessions. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We will work together at a pace and in a way that fits your needs.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, substance use concerns, life changes, and difficulties with decision-making or behavioral patterns. My goal is for you to leave therapy with a deeper understanding of yourself and useful skills for moving forward.
I practice part-time and am available to meet with clients on weekends only. If that schedule works for you, I look forward to connecting.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
