Kind, warm spirit. I get a lot from my time spent with Jaquetta.

Jaquetta is a gifted listener, & so warm. I felt very supported & seen during our sessions, as well as pushed to consider some of the roots & routes of my feelings (which is what I wanted). I feel lucky to have had time with her. She is smart, considerate, and non-judgmental, and was totally supportive of my decision to take time away from therapy to ruminate for a bit on what I’ve been learning & working on.

More about Jaquetta

  • 15 years' experience
  • Female
  • BACP

My name is Jaquetta, and I’m a BACP-accredited counselling psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience supporting adults through life’s more difficult chapters. You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what’s next—whatever has brought you here, I’m here to listen and help you explore it with care and without judgment.

My approach is integrative and humanistic, drawing primarily on Person-Centred, Existential, and Gestalt philosophies. Over time, I’ve continued to develop my practice with additional training in Mindfulness, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy). This means we can work in a way that suits you—tailored to your unique experience and needs, without imposing answers or advice.

Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down and reconnect with yourself. Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns with curiosity and compassion—looking at where they may have come from and how they’re showing up in your life now.

I believe we all have the capacity to navigate life’s challenges, but sometimes difficult experiences—loss, trauma, transitions—can shake our sense of direction and leave us feeling anxious, disconnected, or lost. When that happens, you don’t have to go through it alone. Therapy can offer a supportive way back to clarity, confidence, and self-understanding.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
