Hello, I’m Anna (she/her), a qualified Humanistic Integrative Therapist, and I specialise in supporting women aged 18 and over who want to feel more confident, secure and comfortable in themselves.

Maybe, on the outside, you seem like you’re coping. You’re the person who keeps going, looks after everyone else and gets on with things. But underneath, you might be struggling with self-doubt, overthinking, anxiety or feeling like you’re simply not enough.

Perhaps you find yourself constantly questioning your decisions, worrying about what other people think, putting your own needs last, or comparing yourself to others. Maybe you’ve lost sight of who you are somewhere along the way, and you’re no longer sure what you want from your relationships, your career or your life.

Or perhaps something has happened that has changed how you see yourself, and you’re trying to find your way again.

Whatever has brought you here, I want you to know that you don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy.

I’m particularly passionate about helping women build self-confidence and develop a stronger, kinder relationship with themselves. For me, confidence isn't about becoming a completely different person or suddenly feeling positive all the time. It’s about learning to trust yourself, recognise your worth, understand your needs and feel able to take up space in your own life.

Sometimes we can become so focused on being what other people need us to be that we lose touch with what we need. Therapy can give you the space to pause and ask those questions again.

Who am I? What do I actually want? Why do I find it so difficult to put myself first? Why don't I believe in myself? And what would my life look like if I trusted myself more?

These are the kinds of questions we can explore together.

I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role isn't to tell you what to do or give you a list of instructions for how to live. Instead, I’ll walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and discover what feels right for you.

My approach is warm, compassionate and genuinely collaborative. I want you to feel that you can bring your whole self into our sessions — including the parts you might normally hide, minimise or feel ashamed of. You won't need to impress me, have the “right” answers or pretend that you're doing better than you are.

At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I believe that feeling truly heard, understood and accepted can be incredibly powerful in itself. I will listen carefully, but I won't simply sit back and let you talk. We will explore things together with honesty, curiosity and compassion, at a pace that feels manageable for you.

I work as a Humanistic Integrative Therapist, drawing from different therapeutic approaches and adapting our work to your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit into one particular model. No two people experience life in exactly the same way, so I believe your therapy should be personal to you too.

I have supported clients experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, relationship difficulties, grief, life changes and periods of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I am particularly interested in supporting women who are navigating changes in their identity, relationships or sense of direction and want to feel more confident in who they are.

I also understand that reaching out for therapy can be a big step. You may have spent a long time telling yourself that other people have it worse, that you should be able to cope, or that you simply need to try harder. You don't have to wait until things become unbearable before asking for support.

Therapy can be a space to put yourself back on the list.

My hope is that, through our work together, you can begin to understand yourself more deeply, quieten the critical voice that tells you you're not enough, become more trusting of your own instincts and feel more confident making choices that are right for you.

Most importantly, I want you to leave therapy feeling more connected to yourself — your needs, your voice, your values and the life you want to create.

I provide therapy online by video in a safe and confidential environment. I am a fully qualified Integrative Therapist, a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), and I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework. I also hold Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.

If something in this profile has made you think, “That sounds like me,” perhaps therapy with me could be a good place to start.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
