Jen has taken the time to get to know and built a trust with me. Which is important as it is a big issue in my Life and with relationships and it is majorly to do with childhood trauma that has surfaced. She has taken the time to be patient and make me comfortable. Jen gives me space to think and then reflection. She has helped me build self esteem which I had very little of which would make daily life hard with making the smallest decisions

Hi, I’m Jen (she/her).

I’m a queer, neurodivergent (ADHD), feminist, and trauma-informed therapist offering a warm, down-to-earth space to explore whatever is going on for you.

I work with adults dealing with trauma, childhood/family issues, domestic abuse, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and people-pleasing. I also help clients better understand how their brain works, set healthier boundaries, and start putting themselves first - often for the first time.

My approach is relaxed and compassionate. I’ll meet you where you are, without judgement, and tailor our work to your needs within the moment. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and I’m here to support you in finding clarity, strength, and confidence to move forward as your full, authentic self.

You should be so proud of yourself for even just signing up! Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
