More about Claire

I am an integrative therapist, working with clients to create a warm, empathic space. My focus is to provide a secure environment where trust can grow.

I worked psychodynamicaly, looking at family systems and patterns, challenging a narrative that may no longer be helpful to you.

I also work empathically, client centered and draw on my intuition and felt sense to gain insights.

I have many years working with addiction, both substance and process (food, behaviours, gambling…).

Having worked in addiction agencies, this is a subject close to my heart.

I also work with anxiety disorder, and associated stress patterns. OCD, ADHD, late diagnosis and adjustments to the identity going through this new Information.

I work in person in my private practice and on zoom. I have experience in reaching clients through online methods.

I have been working with clients for 6years now, and part of my approach in person is to provide horticultural therapy too.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
