Hi, I’m Jayne. I’m a UK-based integrative counsellor with 17 years of experience supporting adults and young people through many different stages and challenges in life.
For me, therapy isn’t about fitting you into a particular box or following one set way of working. We are all different, and I believe therapy should reflect that. My approach is integrative and holistic, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on you, what you are experiencing and what feels most helpful.
At the heart of the way I work is the relationship we build together. I offer a warm, down-to-earth and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, make sense of what you are feeling and begin to understand yourself on a deeper level. Sometimes that might mean exploring the past and how earlier experiences are still affecting you today. At other times, we may focus much more on what is happening in your life right now and finding practical ways to help you move forward.
Over the years I have supported people experiencing anxiety, stress, grief and loss, childhood trauma, PTSD, OCD, low mood and depression, difficult family relationships, separation, parenting challenges, anger, low self-esteem and confidence, negative thought patterns, feeling stuck or lost, and those simply trying to find a clearer sense of direction in their lives.
I am also a fully qualified hypnotherapist with 13 years of experience. My hypnotherapy background has given me another layer of understanding around emotional patterns, the subconscious mind, relaxation and the connection between our thoughts, emotions and physical responses. Although counselling and hypnotherapy are different ways of working, this experience naturally informs the holistic way I understand and support my clients.
Creativity, mindfulness, relaxation and emotional wellbeing are also a big part of who I am personally and professionally. I believe we don’t always process our experiences through words alone, and where appropriate I enjoy bringing different ways of reflecting and expressing yourself into the therapeutic process.
Alongside my work with adults, I have around 14 years of experience supporting children and young people, including working within primary and secondary schools. This has involved using creative approaches such as art, writing, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation to help young people explore emotions in ways that feel safe and accessible.
I know reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, particularly if you are used to coping with things by yourself. You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to say or even where to begin. We can start wherever you are.
My role isn’t to tell you how to live your life. It is to walk alongside you, help you understand yourself with greater compassion and awareness, and support you in making the changes that feel right for you.
If you feel we might be a good fit, I’d be very happy to meet you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Really helpful
Jayne is a lovely person and also a great therapist. She’s understanding, looks outside the box, thoughtful & kind and her responses to my questions are spot on. So much so that after a short time I felt a lot better, so I don’t need her anymore. I would strongly recommend her to anybody.
Wonderful therapist. Caring. Calming. And kind.
I feel very fortunate to have been matched with Jayne. She is incredibly empathetic and has a very human approach to our therapy sessions, which really works for me personally. Jayne knows how to balance keeping on track with our therapy focus and exploring other things as they arise. I have seen personal growth and a positive shift in myself under Jayne's guidance.
Jayne is such a warm kind soul. She can understand my trauma without my knowledge. She provides so many different activities, worksheets and extra reading. It is a pleasure to have Jayne guide me on my mental health journey.
Jayne has been excellent in making me feel comfortable discussing anything and I’m confident she can help me meet my goals.
