More about Chacko

  • 12 years' experience
  • Male
  • PACFA

I am a credentialed Clinical Psychotherapist in Australia, registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). Bringing over 12 years of professional work experience, I come from a rich, multidisciplinary background that spans philosophy, psychology, psychotherapy, theology, criminology, and family law. Additionally, I am an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) with the Australian Attorney-General's Department.

My practice focuses on providing individual, couples, and family therapy, alongside specialized family mediation for intact, transitioning, and post-separation families. I am deeply passionate about working with couples, families, children, and young people.

I specialize in a therapeutically and spiritually integrative approach. This allows me to effectively support clients from all walks of life, including those from culturally, religiously, spiritually, and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with individuals facing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including identity crises, depression, anxiety, complex trauma, PTSD, attachment struggles, personality disorders, and relationship distress.

My core mission is to collaborate with you to build an open, trusted, and safe environment—a space where your thoughts, emotions, feelings, and physical sensations can be explored completely free from judgment or bias.

Taking that very first step to sign up for therapy requires immense courage and wisdom. I am genuinely proud of you for getting started, and I look forward to walking alongside you on this journey.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
