Hello, and welcome to my profile page.
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, so I hope you'll find my approach warm, supportive and easy to connect with.
I am a person-centred, relational counsellor accredited in the UK with over five years of professional experience supporting people through a range of difficulties and challenging life experiences. I believe that feeling genuinely seen, heard, understood and accepted can be an important part of beginning to make sense of what you are going through.
My approach is guided by you. I won't judge you or tell you what you should do. Instead, I'll work alongside you at your own pace, helping you explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, grief and loss, people-pleasing, low self-esteem and the effects of trauma, as well as other difficulties that can affect our emotional wellbeing and relationships.
Sometimes we can become so focused on looking after others that we lose sight of our own needs. You may find yourself constantly trying to keep everyone happy, struggling to set boundaries, or questioning your own worth. Counselling can provide a space to pause, understand these patterns and begin to develop a kinder relationship with yourself.
I also understand that grief and loss can take may forms and that there is no single way to experience or work through loss. Whether you are coping with bereavement be it human or pet, a relationship ending, a significant life change or another type of loss, I can offer you a space to talk and be supported without judgement.
My aim is to build a genuine therapeutic relationship with you where you feel safe enough to be yourself You don't have to have everything figured out before you being counselling, we can start exactly where you are.
If you feel ready to take that first step, I'd be really happy to hear from you. You can reach out and tell me a little about what has brought you to counselling, and we can go from there. You don't have to face everything on your own.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Shes great and would recomend her
Susan has been a wonderful therapist over the last few months we have been working together. She is respectful and knowledgeable and most importantly creates a space where I feel comfortable to share my thoughts and feelings. I would recommend Susan to anyone looking for a therapist!
I'm so lucky to have matched with Sue genuinely have a comfort and connection with her that makes talking so easy. Her ways of describing what I'm doing and helping change certian behaviours have made changes in my life quite quickly. Really couldn't recommend her enough.
Susan is a very easy person to talk to. I’ve had 4 sessions with her so far and have hugely benefited from speaking with her. I’ve been holding old trauma within a terrible relationship from years ago. I hadn’t realised how I’d been holding on to anger, which was bringing nothing to my life and now has no place in my head with a bright future ahead. She’s great. I highly recommend her.
Sue is one of the kindest people I have ever met and I cannot speak highly enough of her. She has helped me through a difficult time and has made a huge difference to my life, equipping me with useful tools to deal with what I was going through in a healthy and constructive way, and helping me to find my confidence again. I could always speak freely to her, knowing that whatever I said would never be met with judgement, only kindness, understanding and support. She would go above and beyond, sending me helpful worksheets and words of advice and support between sessions as well, which was such a boost and made me feel so cared for. Thanks to Sue, I am now in a much happier place and feel able to tackle any challenges that come my way. I cannot thank her enough, and if there were more people like Sue, the world would be a much lovelier place :)
Susan is an absolutely brilliant therapist. She has help me navigate some really difficult times and process them. She is friendly and easy to talk to. Really grateful for all her guidance and support
Not had Susan for long, but she's extremely empathetic, listens and understands. What more could you ask for ?

Susan is a great listener and has fantastic empathy.
I felt very at ease straight away and comfortable talking about my issues. Susan listened and gave great advise. I am looking forward to continuing my therapy with her.
I knew I needed therapy for a while but didn't take the dive until recently. She is so attentive, kind and caring. I've only done two sessions with Susan and already knew that she was the missing piece of the puzzle to help me sort though my mental health. I'm really glad I got matched to her. Overall I'm excited to keep going along this journey of glowing and growing with her.
My therapy sessions with Susan have been incredibly helpful in my personal journey of improving my self understanding and communications with those who are close to me. I am very grateful for this time and the guidance to exploring my emotions and experiences that Susan provides.
Susan is amazing! I was always against the idea of therapy but she made me feel comfortable and I do look forward to our session every week!
