Perhaps your mind rarely switches off. You find yourself overthinking conversations, questioning yourself in relationships, or wondering why the same feelings and patterns keep returning. You might struggle with anxiety, self-doubt or feeling stuck, or simply sense that something needs to change without knowing where to begin.

Whatever brings you here, you don't need to have all the answers before starting therapy.

Hi, I’m Izabela, from Mending-Minds.com, qualified UK therapist registered with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, feel heard and begin to make sense of what you're experiencing.

I believe that therapy isn't about fixing who you are. It's about understanding yourself more deeply, recognising the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and discovering new ways of relating to yourself and others.

Together, we can explore what's happening in your life, including how past experiences, relationships and beliefs about yourself may influence how you feel today. We can also work on practical ways to manage anxiety, quieten overthinking, build self-esteem and navigate difficult emotions. Sometimes you may want to explore things in depth; at other times, you may need support with something happening right now. We can make space for both.

My approach is flexible and collaborative, drawing on person-centred, cognitive behavioural (CBT) and psychodynamic perspectives, alongside mindfulness and hypnotherapy where appropriate. I adapt our work to your individual needs, experiences and pace. Your therapy is a space for you, and we'll regularly check in to make sure our work feels helpful and relevant to you.

You might be navigating relationship difficulties, struggling with confidence, coping with loss or a significant life change, or trying to reconnect with yourself after a difficult period. You may not even have a clear goal yet. That's okay, too. Sometimes, simply having the space to pause, talk and begin to understand what's going on inside can be a meaningful place to start.

Clients have shared that they find me easy to talk to and feel understood in our sessions. Creating an atmosphere where you feel comfortable enough to be yourself is something I value deeply.

My wider professional experience includes work in counselling, wellbeing, bereavement support and cognitive rehabilitation. These experiences have shaped my appreciation of how differently people experience and respond to life's challenges.

My hope is that our work together helps you develop a kinder understanding of yourself, recognise what matters to you, and find a way forward that feels right for you.

You don't have to figure everything out alone. We can begin wherever you are, one conversation at a time.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Excellent, kind and welcoming !

I cannot thank Izabela enough for the service she has provided to me. When I first started better help I was a little apprehensive as I have tried many different kinds of therapy over the years but as I got more comfortable with Izabela, it only became easier for me to talk about my problems. The techniques and words of reassurance and encouragement taught me things and helped me persevere through important moments in my life that have happened recently. Izabela is kind, calm, thoughtful, honest, super experienced and so friendly!! I will always be grateful for her help over these past few months.

This is my first time using a therapist and I have to say so far Izabela has been great. She listens patiently as I air my concerns without interrupting despite me, even though I sometimes find myself rambling on in my haste to get everything out. She's very patient and understanding. Izabela is a great match for me.

She’s an excellent therapist! Very personal, kind, helpful, friendly and it’s so easy to speak to her. She is also very good with responding to my questions and concerns in a timely manner.
