About Me

You may appear strong, responsible, and capable on the outside — but inside, you might feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in constant overthinking.

Many of the people I work with are used to managing everything on their own while trying to meet expectations from work, relationships, or family. Over time, this can lead to emotional exhaustion, self-doubt, and a sense of feeling lost or disconnected.

I offer a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can slow down, reflect, and begin to understand what is happening beneath the surface — at your own pace.

Many of the people I work with are navigating emotional pain, life transitions, and different forms of loss. This may include grief related to the death of a loved one, but also the emotional impact of relationship changes, moving to a new country or city, career changes, or other life adjustments that can feel difficult to process alone.

You don’t have to go through this alone.

Professional Background

Before moving to Australia, I worked for many years in Brazil, providing psychotherapy and emotional support to adults, families, and individuals in both private practice and educational settings.

Currently, I provide counselling through online sessions.

I am a registered counsellor (Level 4) with the ACA (Australian Counselling Association) and also registered with PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia). My work follows the ethical and professional standards of both organisations.

My Approach

My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centred.

I use evidence-informed approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and a trauma-informed perspective. I also draw from Gestalt therapy, focusing on helping you become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and patterns in the present moment.

Together, we work to:

• understand emotional patterns and reduce overthinking

• manage stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm

• build emotional awareness and self-confidence

• improve communication and relationships

• navigate life transitions with more clarity and balance

My goal is to help you feel more grounded, gain clarity, and respond more effectively to challenges in your daily life.

Who I Work With

I work with young adults and adults who may be experiencing:

• overthinking and difficulty switching off

• emotional overwhelm or feeling mentally exhausted

• anxiety and stress related to work or life demands

• relationship challenges

• life transitions or feeling stuck

• low self-confidence

Many of the people I support are thoughtful, responsible individuals who often carry a great deal internally while continuing to function in their daily lives.

Professional Standards

My counselling sessions are provided online through telehealth and follow the ethical and professional guidelines of the Australian Counselling Association and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia.

I aim to offer a respectful and supportive environment where you feel heard and understood.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
