I’m a registered mental health professional based in Australia with years of experience supporting people through life’s challenges.

Over the years, I’ve worked in schools, community organisations, prisons (including drug treatment units), NGOs, and private practice. I’ve facilitated group therapy, supported people experiencing homelessness, and worked one-to-one with clients facing addiction, relationship conflict, trauma, and emotional distress.

I’ve also supported individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief and loss, low self-esteem, and a lack of motivation or confidence. I understand that reaching out can feel daunting, and I deeply respect the courage it takes to take that first step.

Many of the behaviours we struggle with today were once coping mechanisms, shaped by trauma, difficult experiences, or what we learned growing up. While these patterns may have served a purpose in the past, they can sometimes hold us back in the present. My approach is to help clients gently identify these patterns and support them in creating more helpful, empowering ways of responding now.

I draw on evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis (TA), Person-Centred Therapy, trauma-informed care, and my own lived experience, while tailoring sessions to each client’s needs. I’m committed to creating a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard and understood.

I know it can feel daunting to reach out for help. That first step takes real courage, and I’m here to meet you with empathy and respect. If you’re ready to take that step, I’d be honoured to walk beside you.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
