I am a registered BACP Psychotherapist with over 15 years experience working with young people and adults. I have worked in the NHS, various UK based charities, a number of International schools throughout Asia and the Middle East and in Private Practice.

My therapeutic approach is pluralistic, collaborative and deeply rooted in Person Centred philosophy. This means that I work slightly differently with each client, since sessions are tailored to meet your individual needs. We will work together to create a therapeutic pathway that supports you in meeting your therapeutic goals. To help you process what needs processing so you can move in the direction you desire, I will tentatively offer you evidence based tools, techniques and strategies from various modalities including Solution Focused, CBT, Internal Family Systems, Compassion Based Therapy, Narrative and Creative Therapies, Positive Psychology, Coaching and Mindfulness.

My aim when I work with clients is to create a safe and trusted space that feels nurturing, supportive, non-judgmental and compassionate. In this way I help my clients to explore and be with the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that are causing them to suffer and I help them to compassionately challenge, release and change any of the past beliefs, patterns and/or blocks that are unhelpful and keeping them stuck.

I specialize in working with relational issues (with self or others). Whether you are struggling with your own self relationship (low confidence, poor self esteem, strong negative self talk, numbing out behaviours, emotional overwhelm, body image and eating issues, self sabotage), or you are experiencing patterns/cycles of being with others that cause you to suffer (dependency and attachment issues, boundary issues, communication issues, family or peer conflicts) I am here to support you back to your wellness.

It is a courageous move to reach out for therapy to help you process what is causing you to suffer and to take steps towards creating a different life for yourself and it would be my honour to be a part of this journey with you.
