Hi I'm Alison.

I'm a little bit of a quirky counsellor (think crazy hair and tattoos) who works in an open, down-to-earth way. My style is rooted in authenticity, and I believe therapy should feel like a safe, honest space where you can fully be yourself - no judgement, no pressure, no pretending.

I work integratively, drawing from person-centred therapy, CBT, and psychotherapy to shape my work around you. I don't believe in working "on" you; I work with you. Our sessions are collaborative and I'll always meet you where you are, not where anyone else thinks you should be. I'm open to all lifestyles and identities, and I use humour where it feels right - because sometimes a little lightness can go a long way.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD or autism, or want to explore kink or fetish related topics in a safe and affirming space, you'll be met with respect, honesty and confidentiality.

Creating a sense of safety and freedom is at the heart of my work - because real change happens when we feel truly seen and accepted.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
