I am a fully qualified integrated Therapist and member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) with over 10 years of experience in working therapeutically with adults, adolescents and children.

I provide an integrative approach to counselling which brings together different styles of counselling CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Solution Focussed Transactional Analysis and Psychodynamic allowing me to tailor my approach to meet the needs of each individual client. I work in a creative way which can be beneficial to adolescents and adults as it can help to express emotions.

The aim of the first session is to meet each other during this time I will conduct a first assessment that aims to gather information around life history, education, support and goals for the therapeutic work. This meeting will help you to feel comfortable and at ease. It also allows us the chance to see if we are the right fit for each other, as this is an important part of successful therapy!

As an experienced integrative therapist my role is to support you through your challenges, we are all unique and my therapy approach will be based on your needs. I want you to feel comfortable being who you are and to have the confidence to embrace your life. So often you cannot change the things in your past, or what is happening to you right now. However, you can relate differently to those events, and you can make positive decisions about your future.

Working at the pace that feels right for you supporting you through the healing process provides space necessary for you to be, however you need to be at this time. Growth is part of the therapy process and having a greater understanding of you enables you to make different choices enhancing your life and wellbeing.
