Lesley had been very helpful with a couple of current issues I have. She is sympathetic but challenges you to really think and reflect on things.

I’ve had three sessions so far with Lesley, and she’s amazing! I feel truly listened to and understood. She helps me unpack and process things in ways that really work for me. I’d recommend Lesley to anyone who wants to explore, heal, or challenge themselves. She creates a safe space and gently guides you through the issues you want to overcome. I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Psychotherapist specialising in eating disorders and clinical hypnotherapy.

I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can explore what’s going on for you at a pace that feels safe and manageable. My approach is integrative, which means I draw from different therapeutic models and tailor sessions to your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all method.

My core training is psychodynamic, which means we may explore how past experiences and relationships have shaped your current thoughts, feelings, and patterns. Alongside this, I also draw from humanistic, CBT, and Jungian approaches, depending on what feels most helpful for you at the time.

I also integrate body-based and trauma-informed approaches, including Somatic Experiencing, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, and Polyvagal Theory. This allows us to work not only with thoughts and emotions, but also with how experiences are held in the body.

A key focus of my work is attachment and relationship patterns. We may gently explore whether you tend to move towards anxiety, avoidance, or a mix of both in relationships, and how these patterns developed. Together, we work towards creating more secure, connected, and self-supportive ways of relating.

Alongside psychotherapy, I am a 550-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Breathwork Facilitator, Menopause Wellness Coach, and Women’s Circle Facilitator. My additional training supports a more holistic, mind–body approach, particularly for trauma and life transitions such as menopause.

My intention is to support you in understanding yourself more deeply, feeling more grounded within yourself, and building a more compassionate relationship with who you are.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
