I am a LISW practicing in Ohio with over 17 years of clinical experience. In my early years as a clinician I worked at a residential rehabilitation facility for adolescents. In this role I did family therapy, trauma therapy and facilitated group and individual therapy for the kids and their parents. I spent several years working as a school social worker at a large public school working with issues ranging from anger management, grief, divorce and teen sexuality issues. My current part time role is as an assessor for families going through the adoption process and I love it.
My style is warm and engaging. I have experience with families struggling with fertility, loss, depression, communication issues and health issues. I have worked with many victims of trauma and am well versed in the importance of trauma informed care. As a younger therapist the scope of my practice centered around teenagers but has expanded in recent years to include more adults struggling with relationship issues, parenting and honestly life.
I look forward to getting to know you and hope that we can connect in a way that can help.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
