More about Prisca

  • 4 years' experience
  • Female

Hello, my name is Prisca. I am a psychologist with over 4 years of clinical experience with adults, children and families. Over the years I have worked with people who are dealing with a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship and parenting problems, addiction, obsessive-compulsive disorders and ADHD. In addition, I have a lot of experience with trauma and aggression related problems.

I strive to always listen with curiosity and an open mind, with the aim of understanding you as well as possible. Nothing human is alien to us, and everyone gets stuck sometimes. It is very powerful when you realize that you could use some help, and then also take the step to seek help.

I tailor my approach as much as possible to you, and this can change as the situation or circumstances in your life change. My approach is often a combination of elements from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and ACT.

The most important thing to me is that our conversations and treatment plan are tailored to your unique story, goals and needs, and that you agree with the method and direction.

You signed up, and that's worth a round of applause! You're doing this for yourself, and I'm happy to help you on your path to move forward.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
