Amy was a wonderful introduction to online counseling! She is very personable and warm, which made it easier to jump right into the deep stuff. Amy paid attention to my story and helped me consider things I didn't see before, as well as affirm me where appropriate. I highly recommend Amy!

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that each family unit is unique. When positive growth or change is made by one member of the family, each member benefits.
I started my career in 1998 as a teacher for students with special needs and as a public school guidance counselor. In 2011, I decided to earn my LMFT degree as it was becoming more clear that our families and past experiences strongly shape decisions we make and behaviors we choose as adults.
My therapeutic approach varies as to what you need. Some people benefit from Solution-Focused, brief-type therapy, while others may need a more collaborative, educational approach. I offer EMDR for trauma/PTSD and Prepare-Enrich curriculum for couples' needs. I will be a supportive, empathetic listener and will take time to craft my services around your individual needs, whether that is working through events in your past or planning a healthy future. My goal is to empower you to become the best YOU!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

After going to a psychologist for a few months and being unhappy with the help I was receiving I wanted to try an online therapy platform. Amy is the only therapist I’ve worked with on BetterHelp but even after 2 phone sessions I feel better understood and supported than I did in months of therapy with my past individual!
Amy is very insightful and kind. She also has experience of being an actual mom, and understanding about family life.
She is very supportive and treats you with respect. She understands your situation and replies very quick.
Amy has a very approachable personality that makes it easy to talk to her.
Amy is a great, confident counselor that listens fully. She keeps track of so many things while getting down to the core issues. She is great via text and video and will serve you well whenever you are in need. She’s come through for me when I needed her in emergency situations and is someone you can trust.
She's AWESOME. Flexible, funny, easy to talk to, extremely helpful, and super encouraging. Lovin this experience. WAAAAAAAY better than what I dealt with earlier in life.
Amy’s a big confidence booster, I feel vast improvement in my lively hood. Some days will be tough through her conversations, but just know it’s to your benefit. I feel nothing but comfortable and that I’m finally being listened to and understood.
Amy is an amazing therapist, supportive and understanding, and gives great resources and advice! I would recommend her to anyone!
Amy is responsive and kind, and I know she is spiritually coaching me into a healthier person. I feel like I am getting the tools I need to have happier, healthier relationships and to be who the Lord has made me to be.
I have spoken with Amy twice over the phone and multiple times through the forum. She was great from the start and I look forward to our sessions. I look forward to continuing to work with Amy.
Amy is a wonderful kind and understanding person with a passion and love for her work. She knows how to pinpoint and help with a variety of issues and is always there when needed. Her encouragement to participate and talk openly about the issues is second to none
Amy listens like an old friend, really digs in and finds the root cause of the issue, and gives lots of options to address whatever the problem or feeling may be. Not only that, she can adjust quickly and efficiently when new problems arise or things change.
Amy is a wonderful counselor and I’m so glad I made the decision to pursue counseling with her.
Amy has been so helpful. It was clear she had read my opening profile and we were able to get right to useful communication exchanges. Her responses were timely and very well thought out. Most importantly, it is clear that she cares.
Amy gives me a sense of calm when my world feels chaotic. Feeling an overwhelming sense of grief and anger everyday was starting to ruin parts of my life and she helped me realize there’s light and there’s ways to handle things so I don’t lose myself! I’m so happy I found her!
I was so down on myself and Amy talked and prayed with me and after just a couple of conversations I felt myself turning around. She is an awesome listener and I loved the bible verses and her praying with me to help me feel better about myself. I will strongly recommend her to anyone that needs a helping hand. I truly believe God sent Amy to me. Thank you Jesus :)
