Hi y'all! My name is Aubrey (she/her), and I'm a clinical social worker licensed in Indiana. I work with people with a wide array of concerns, including depression and anxiety, substance use, behavioral addictions, and chronic pain/illness. I also have extensive experience with the child welfare and foster care and can help navigate life in or after involvement in these systems.
In therapy sessions, I focus on encouraging and supporting you with your challenges, and helping you finding new paths forward. I use a mix of trauma-informed and client-centered treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I also use humor in my sessions, because sometimes the best way to take power away from the uncomfortable thoughts is to point out the absurd parts of life.
In our first session, we'll go over your therapy goals and current symptoms to create a plan for how to move forward. You're in the driver's seat, and I'll be your navigator. I'm looking forward to meeting you and starting this journey together!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
