Hello and Welcome!
I'm Liisa, a PACFA Clinical Counsellor with over 20 years of professional experience supporting individuals, families, and professionals through both personal and professional challenges.
I hold dual Master’s degrees in Counselling and Business Coaching, along with a BFA in design, which allows me to work holistically—integrating emotional wellbeing, relationships, work, leadership, and life direction.
As a global citizen who has lived and worked all over the world, Australia, USA, UK, Europe, Asia, I am an expat specialist and have extensive experience supporting individuals and families and children, through relocation, cultural adjustment, identity shifts. I know the unique challenges faced by expat partners and children.
I provide executive level, c-suite and EAP professional coaching, supporting mental and emotional clarity, balance, and sustainable performance, backed by evidence based practice theories.
I work with clients with a wide variety of important needs: brain fog, emotional ups and downs, relationship issues, life transitions, and the pressures that come with leadership and responsibility.
My approach is trauma-informed, thoughtful, and collaborative. I blend evidence-based counselling with practical tools such as SMART goal-setting, creative problem-solving, and design-thinking approaches. I am also passionate about supporting clients to connect with their values, meaning, and sense of purpose, and I can incorporate a gentle, spiritually informed perspective when this is meaningful for the client.
As a mother of three grown adults, I bring a grounded, real-world understanding of family dynamics, developmental stages, and the complexities of long-term relationships. I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to offer perspective, structure, and support as you move forward with clarity and confidence. Reaching out for support takes courage, and I’m so happy you’re here!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
