Most recently, I have enjoyed helping women with chronic post traumatic stress as a result of experiencing ongoing and significant life stressors. Often these women have experienced domestic violence or have grown up in families affected by chronic drug or alcohol use and/or untreated or severe mental health difficulties. Many of them have a lot of responsibilities and a limited support system.
I am licensed in Virginia with over 20 years of professional work experience in various settings. I have worked with adults, teens and children in crisis and hospital settings, as well as in outpatient therapy settings, I have experience in helping people with various life stressors and mental health conditions.
