I graduated with my Master of Social Work from Western Michigan University, with a specialization in trauma. I have experience working with children, families and adults that have been through a variety of circumstances, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and many other areas. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that helps individuals process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. I am also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also have experience in Infant Mental Health, supporting mothers through pregnancy, childbirth, and the bonding between the mother/caregiver and baby/young child.
