I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Philadelphia. I work with teens and adults and specialize in dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, and life transitions. I do this by using person-centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I mostly use acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy person-centered therapy. I use these approaches to understand the client and work with the client to handle life's many stressors.I am comfortable working with teens and adults. Each approach is tailored to the client's needs. Sometimes, this requires being challenged and supported based on the client's needs. My communication style is calm, supportive, and challenging at times. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything. I am open-minded and want to provide a safe space for my clients. When it comes to goal setting, I want to work with clients, help them identify areas they want to improve in, and set reasonable goals to help them grow and develop into the people they want to be. My desire to be a therapist comes from my desire to help people become the best versions of themselves and overcome barriers in their lives. For our first session together, you can expect us to spend time talking about you, how you are feeling, and what made you want to start therapy. The first session is about learning about each other, addressing goals that the client may have, and discussing barriers that may arise in the therapeutic process.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
